Moving DotB times ?

Somebody should move the DotB times entries and put them into a somewhat newspaper style thingie ? --Darth Vader 08:23, 30 January 2007 (CET)

This is just a nice way of telling me to move the DotB times entries in a newspaper style, isn't it? I was thinking about going to experiment with it this afternoon. So you might be surpised :p Gonzo 08:30, 30 January 2007 (CET)
It was not intended as any pressure in any way, but i just thought it would be worthy content as well --Darth Vader 09:14, 30 January 2007 (CET)

Uploading files

There must be a trick to it since it wont accept the mesmer-icon.png file i got, care to share the secret? :p

not really, it didn't accept some of my uploads, but so far everything worked for me. I'll see what I can do about the mesmer-icon
no idea why it didn't work for you, maybe Vader does. [[Image:Mesmer-icon.png]] Mesmer-icon.png --Gonzo 13:25, 31 January 2007 (CET)
need more information, what time it was tried, local filename, remote filename.. i can't see anything wrong, other than that some browsers are broken in their filename and cut'n'paste sometimes adds strange file endings.. if the file does not exactly end in one of the allowed extensions, it will be rejected. --Darth Vader 13:53, 31 January 2007 (CET)
Tried again as a test at 12:56 GMT, IE6
Source: C:\temp\Mesmer-icontest.png
Desination name: Mesmer-icontest.png
no copy/paste anywhere, error: "The file is corrupt or has an incorrect extension. Please check the file and upload again." -Devil
Well i got a new pic off GW, maybe there was something wrong with the first picture i saved as, either way uploaded a new one so it can be deleted ;)
I think the possible culprit is the developers of PHP, which i like to refer to as Personal Hell Pages. Their MIME detector is b0rked. So i try to using something more reliable for checking. (ref.: corrupted files). What happens is that the uploaded files are checked against the extension and supplied mime-type, and if they don't match, and the file cannot be identified, they are rejected with that error. This check is to prevent hax0r's from faking an image and upload a binary executable, tricking users into downloading files from here that are not what they expect. I've added the suggested fix, and hopefully that will work. --Darth Vader 14:36, 31 January 2007 (CET)
