This is a summary of the dungeons in Eye of the North.

Catacombs of Kathandrax

  • Staging area: Start from Doomlore Shrine, head south through the burning forest.
  • Levels: 3
  • Approx. time needed: tba
  • Gonzo's notes: Lots of fire, lots of Djinn's.

Rragar's Menagerie

  • Staging area: Start from Doomlore Shrine, head south past the burning forest.
  • Levels: 3
  • Approx. time needed: tba
  • Gonzo's notes: Charr, charr and more charr. I'd say, bring you're dogs they might scare the kittens.

Cathedral of Flames

  • Staging area: Start in Doomlore Shrine (talk to the merchant)
  • Levels: 3
  • Approx. time needed: 40odd minutes
  • Gonzo's notes: This place is filled to the rim with undead. So fire and holy damage are a safe bet. However, fire hardly damages the boss. Bringing a BHA ranger is great for the boss. The endchest has two very desirable melee skins.

Ooze Pit

  • Staging area: Start from Longeye's Ledge (quest is obtained outside Doomlore Shrine though, however you can do the dungeon, retrieve the item needed for the quest and collect both quest and reward later)
  • Levels: 1
  • Approx. time needed: tba
  • Gonzo's notes: Ooze, Ooze, Ooze, Ooze, Ooze

Darkrime Delves

  • Staging area: Start either from Gunnar's Hold, Sifhalla or Longeye's Ledge, it's located roughly in the middle of these three
  • Levels: 3
  • Approx. time needed: tba
  • Gonzo's notes: Lots of Jotun, bring some kind of KD protection

Frostmaw's Burrow

  • Staging area: Start from Sifhalla, exit east, go north
  • Levels: 5
  • Approx. time needed: 1-1.5 hour
  • Gonzo's notes: Wurms, KD, ice! Everything you love in a dungeon and more. It's the biggest and longest (non-elite) dungeon out there. The end-chest drops 2 items. Basicly my best bet for a Guild Event out of the dungeons.

Sepulchre of Dragrimmar

  • Staging area: Start from Sifhalla, exit west, go west
  • Levels: 2
  • Approx. time needed: 30-40 minutes
  • Gonzo's notes: We all know and love this one. During the early days of EotN when people weren't that far in, this dungeons was the guild's dungeon of choice. It's nice and easy.

Raven's Point

  • Staging area: Start from Olafstead, just a bit outside
  • Levels: 3
  • Approx. time needed: tba
  • Gonzo's notes: Lots of Destroyers, besides that: Legend of Zelda anybody? Kill mob, get chest spawn, get torch, light torch, light other torches.

Vloxen Excavations

  • Staging area: Start from Umbral Grotto or Vlox's Falls(no map, less walking though) Quest is in Umbral
  • Levels: 3
  • Approx. time needed: 40-60 minutes
  • Gonzo's notes: I personally like this one, it's rather easy and the only bump in the road is the boss, where I have yet found an effective way of killing him. Level 1 and 2 are filled with Stone Summit and level 3 has undead crawling around everywhere.

Bogroot Growths

  • Staging area: Start from Gadd's Encampment, head north
  • Levels: 2
  • Approx. time needed: tba
  • Gonzo's notes: Great for dwarven point, toads and plants everywhere. You can take one of two quests in here depending on which side you choose.

Bloodstone Caves

  • Staging area: Start from Bloodstone Caves, head east
  • Levels: 3
  • Approx. time needed: tba
  • Gonzo's notes: Ettins and stuff, haven't done this one more then once, so don't know that much about it.

Shards of Orr

  • Staging area: Start from Vlox's Falls and head south (you can also enter from Gadd's but you need to walk all the way to the entrance in the north turning this shortcut in a detour)
  • Levels: 3
  • Approx. time needed: HOURS (seriously though: tba)
  • Gonzo's notes: I hate this one, at least to h/h. The boss is a pain to kill and I would gladly never do this one again unless we're going in with a guild team.

Oola's Lab

  • Staging area: Start from Rata Sum and head west
  • Levels: 3
  • Approx. time needed: 30-40 minutes
  • Gonzo's notes: Golems here, golems there, golems everywhere. When doing this one just take out the Flame Guardians you meet and plow your way through golems. Couldn't be easier.

Arachni's Haunt

  • Staging area: Start from Rata Sum and head southwest
  • Levels: 2
  • Approx. time needed: tba
  • Gonzo's notes: It is very important to complete the quest objectives on the first floor before moving on, as you cannot go back. Two of the Spider Matriarchs are on the first floor.

Slavers' Exile

  • Staging area: Finish the game, head east from Umbral Grotto or west from Olafstead
  • Levels: 4ish, in a matter of speaking
  • Approx. time needed: total 3-4 hours
  • Gonzo's notes: It's advisable to do this in 3-4 runs. Depending on time available. There are 4 parts to this dungeon, one holding two bosses. You can only do Duncan, the last boss, after doing all the other parts.

---note: the next three aren't really GE material, but adding them for completion sake---

Fronis Irontoe's Lair

  • Staging area: Solodungeon, do the killroy quests in Gunnar's Hold
  • Levels: 1
  • Approx. time needed: tba
  • Gonzo's notes: Who doesn't love killroy?

Secret Lair of the Snowmen

  • Staging area: Collect the four mappieces and give them to Koris Deeprunner in Umbral Grotto
  • Levels: 1
  • Approx. time needed: ~15 minutes both nm and hm
  • Gonzo's notes: Do this in HM, grind dwarven points. It couldn't be easier. The snowmen may attack faster, but they still deal 50 damage.

Heart of the Shiverpeaks

  • Staging area: The only part of the primary quests that ends up in the Master Dungeon Guide instead of the Hero Handbook, there is no quest for this one when you repeat it.
  • Levels: 3
  • Approx. time needed: tba
  • Gonzo's notes: Taking a touch ranger can cut down the time for the endboss considerably
